If you've created your own homemade recipe or are following one from another source, this service provides a professional nutritional review before you feed it long-term.
We will evaluate the recipe for ingredient selection, nutrient balance, feeding practicality, and overall appropriateness for your pet's age, lifestyle, and any health concerns you identify. You'll receive feedback highlighting any nutritional deficiencies, excesses, or areas of concern, along with recommendations for improving the recipe where appropriate.
This service is ideal for pet owners who have been feeding a homemade diet or recipe collected online and would like to ensure that it is balanced and appropriate for their dog or cat.
Please Note: This is an evaluation service only. While recommendations for improvement may be provided, this service does not include the creation of a custom, complete and balanced recipe. This service is for otherwise healthy adult pets ONLY.
Who is this for?
This service is best suited for healthy pets or those requiring a general nutrition review. Pets with medical conditions often require therapeutic nutrient targets that cannot be achieved by simply modifying an existing recipe. In these cases, a custom nutrition consultation may be recommended instead.
Recommendations will be delivered to your email approximately 2 weeks after purchase. The price covers our analysis only and notes only - If you have any follow-up questions to our recommendations you will be directed to schedule a separate wellness call ($110-$215) with our Pet Nutritionist.
